About The Project

The Bibliotherapy Project is a long-standing effort to catalogue and organize books for teachers to use with students who may be experiencing difficult life situations (e.g., bullying, the loss or sickness of a sibling, parent or friend). Teachers know that students can be inspired by quality literature for children and adolescents. What some teachers have learned is that sometimes students will take about the characters in books in ways that they won’t talk about their personal problems.

The Mission
Provide a searchable tool so that teachers can find books by theme and grade level that they can then use in their classrooms.
